Are Schmoozers Optimists or Pessimists?

A short answer to a common question.

Schmoozers vary in personality and outlook, but many -- perhaps most (?)-- tend to be centrists (realists) with a cheerful preference.

 

Since real schmoozers care about people, they often recognize that being overly optimisitic is a form of denial and not helpful to others.  They may prefer to accentuate the positive at times, but at other times they simply listen and offer no easy answers.

 

Machers are actually more prone to be optimists, since they tend to be the movers and shakers.  They (machers) are more prone to go to motivational seminars, etc.
